Four things we love about spending the festive season on the North Coast

Although every day of the year is something special when you live on the North Coast, the festive season certainly delivers a little more magic. For those who are lucky enough to live where we do, there’s nothing quite like spending the year-end holidays on the coast. Here’s what we love most about it.

The weather

Sunshine, glorious sunshine! The North Coast of KwaZulu-Natal is synonymous with wonderful weather. It’s why so many who choose to vacation here fall in love with the area. Great weather makes for more time spent outdoors. From meals outside to relaxing by the pool or heading down to the beach, there’s no better way to enjoy the holidays.

Take us to the beach!

The warm Indian Ocean’s greeting feels all the sweeter as Christmas approaches. We’re not sure if it’s the added holiday endorphins or if Mother Nature turns on extra charm during this time of the year, but we’ve never been happier to have the beach right on our doorstep. For those who call Seaton home, direct beach access makes those family days, morning walks, and shoreline sundowners a daily occurrence, something residents can always look forward to.

Fun and excitement galore

Thanks to a convenient location, spending the festive season on the North Coast means access to everything you need and then some. From shopping to entertainment, events, the ocean, nature trails, and eateries, we are spoilt for choice when it comes to choosing how we fill our days. Some say that our location is so prime that even Father Christmas himself would never pass up the opportunity to visit us every year…
