There is so much to celebrate on our #LoveNorthCoast, and with exciting developments outside of our gates, like Club Med South Africa opening very soon, Seaton residents and North Coasters alike have every reason to feel proud, optimistic, and inspired about what’s to come in the near future. This includes Seaton Precinct that will offer retail, medical, and commercial spaces as part of our neighbourhood. One of the most exciting parts of this new precinct is certainly Seaton House, a school that promises to deliver the next wave of education right here on our doorstep.
Within our own gates, there has been lots to smile about, too, like the opening of our pool and pavilion that took place in the middle of May. This event set the scene for what’s sure to be a highlight for many who call Seaton home, even as we approach winter, thanks to our signature sunny days we get to enjoy when the rest of the nation are usually wrapped up and indoors.
A space designed for connection, relaxation, and embracing the everyday joy of life on the North Coast, the pool features water slides, which we know our younger residents will be enjoying in full force! This is only Phase 1, though, and there is still more to come, with Phase 2 set to begin soon. This second phase will include the commencement of the Seaton Clubhouse, something we’re excited to bring to life.
At the opening event, Geoff Perkins, Head of Developments at Collins Residential, shared how Seaton plans to give the age-old concept of a country club a new coastal identity, “We wanted to take that traditional idea of a country club and shape it around the way people live on the North Coast today, where life is centred around being outdoors, staying active, spending time together and feeling connected to the natural environment around you. It’s important that these spaces grow alongside the community. Over time, it becomes far more than a shared facility. It becomes the cornerstone of the community, a place where people connect, families spend time together and the identity of the estate really starts to take shape.”
Places and spaces where people want to come together
With more than 90% of single residential homesites already sold, the estate continues to attract strong buyer interest driven by its combination of nature, lifestyle and community-focused living. Importantly, the delivery of amenities has been intentionally aligned with the steady growth of the community itself.
As more homes are completed, more families move in, and more residents begin settling into the rhythm of life at Seaton, the opening of the pool and pavilion marks an important moment in the evolution of the estate. It is a sign of a community coming to life, not just through the homes being built, but through the shared experiences that happen between them.
These are the moments that give an estate its energy. Children racing towards the slides, neighbours greeting each other in passing, families spending long sunny afternoons outdoors, and residents enjoying the kind of everyday lifestyle that makes the North Coast so loved.
Seaton has always been shaped around the idea that life here should feel open, active and connected to the incredible landscape that surrounds it. From its coastal setting and natural beauty to its future-focused amenities and considered planning, the estate continues to grow into a place where residents can experience the best of North Coast living every day.
The opening of this first phase is another exciting step in that journey. It reflects the broader vision for Seaton as a place where people can live well, spend time outdoors, feel part of a community, and enjoy the freedom and beauty of coastal estate living.
Here’s to the next chapter of our estate and another milestone for our Seaton family that sets the tone for community, coastal living, and the next exciting phase of Seaton.
