Let’s be honest, the North Coast really is magnificent at this time of the year! Whilst most are “hibernating” indoors, we’re relishing the chance to still enjoy the spoils of our location. Weather aside, here are the things we love about the North Coast…
Culture is alive and well here!
In just June and July alone, the North Coast was alive with exciting events as loads of visitors (and locals) flocked to enjoy our fantastic weather and wonderful occasions. These included the 55Th Ballito Pro, Tequila & Mexican Food Festival and ZA Fest (featuring KAMERS Makers and headline acts Jesse Clegg and Ndlovu Youth Choir). The events scene here represents the diverse and ever-growing community that call the North Coast home, something that makes us incredibly excited for the future as more festivities unfold here.
Natural beauty
Let’s just start with our beautiful beaches, three of which are Blue Flag certified, including the one our residents have direct beach access to – Christmas Bay! With warmer weather all year round, including during winter, more days of sunshine and more pleasant water temperatures mean swimming, surfing and SUPing are far easier to enjoy.
Community
The North Coast has a friendly community atmosphere that fosters great bonds and support networks. This provides a variety of like-minded people to enjoy both Seaton Estate facilities and North Coast amenities with.
A Lifestyle like no other
Our climate and natural beauty lends themselves to a phenomenal outdoor lifestyle that many find hard to beat. North Coast residents also appreciate the relaxed pace of life and the opportunity to unwind in a beautiful environment away from the hustle and bustle of bigger cities. This is probably the biggest drawcard as many who move to the North Coast often do so in search of a lifestyle like this one.
Everything you need right on your doorstep
If you don’t find it within Seaton itself, you’ll surely find it a short drive away.
From excellent healthcare facilities, to schools, shopping centres, and recreational amenities, the North Coast offers it all and then some. Close proximity to Durban and King Shaka International Airport keeps residents near everything they need whilst allowing them to enjoy the laidback lifestyle they choose.
